My name is Mariia Karpenko. I’m originally from Ukraine and have been living in the Netherlands since 2015. I’ve studied psychology from the start, and although I spent several years working in corporate HR - mainly in tech - I always knew I’d come back to working with people more directly.
Now my full focus is on supporting clients and growing in my work as a therapist. I practice in an integrative way, mainly drawing from schema therapy and mindfulness-based approaches, always looking for more techniques and instruments to learn for my practice.
I work with people who are dealing with anxiety, low self-esteem, burnout, relationship struggles, difficult life transitions or just a sense of being stuck - reach out to me and we can talk about how I can support your goals.
I also offer breathwork sessions in one-on-one and group settings - a separate part of my practice. Breathwork can help release tension, regulate stress, and reconnect with the body, especially for people who spend most of their time in their heads.
I don’t believe in fixing people. I trust in helping people understand themselves better, step by step - and build something steadier from there.
My work grows from ongoing study: structured courses, peer reflection, supervision, and the questions my clients bring into the room
